The story behind the name of this track is quite amusing. Usually, when I work on new music, I name them something like "202120522122 any name F23_45" — basically no title at all. When I was working on Kitty Try, I took an intermediate version to listen to in the car. When my daughter heard it, she immediately looked at the screen to see the title, but there were only numbers. She asked what I would name the track. Before I could even open my mouth, she added, "I don't know what you'll call it, but I'll call it Kitty Try." With that, she gave the track its direction, and I didn't resist.
